1. How to configure Outlook Express?

Create account

  1. Select Account from Outlook Express menu bar.




  2. Click Add -> Mail on Internet Account screen.




  3. Enter a display name and click Next.




  4. Enter a Email address and click Next.




  5. Set POP3 Server and SMTP Server, then click Next.




  6. Enter Email Address and password, then click Next.




  7. Click Finish.




  8. Double Click on the email account on Internet Account screen.




  9. Check Outgoing Mail Server's My server requires authentication on Server tab and click OK.




  10. Test sending and recieving email using new email account.

Set up for sending mail.

  1. Select Account from Outlook Express menu bar.




  2. Double Click on the email account on Internet Account screen.




  3. Check Outgoing Mail Server's My server requires authentication on Server tab, if it is not checked, then click OK.




  4. Click Settings button. Check Use same settings as my incoming mail server if it is not checked, then click OK.




  5. Test sending email.
